VIOLENCE INTERVENTION

Violence Intervention is about keeping open and active communication with residents and community leaders about the lack of safety in communities that trigger "fight or flight" responses.

Endangered Kind applies Safety Intervention by practicing our “Train-the-Trainer” methodology:

Endangered Kind will train others on how to identify when an individual is at risk when transitioning from the streets
Understanding common and unique risk-factors (environment, support, and association) and barriers associated with transitioning from unsafe conditions
Addressing family, friends, associates, and group members
Defining and maintaining a safe and healthy home and environment
Clarifying interaction and avoidance with prior group members
